It was a bright day. My friend and I decided to see the other side of the island. We geared ourselves for another venture. As we reached the seashore, we saw a family collecting gravels for a private property construction. My, under the scorching noonday! But their warm-hearted countenance trumps the heat as the waves and ripples wet their bodies.
Though, life tosses us with different challenges; the choice is ours, whether to live it meaningfully or nonchalantly. Or let the difficulties in life drown us completely. One timeless truth we need to be reminded of constantly, like the sands on the shore, that's how God blessed us. And they outnumber the woes in life.
